SureStream Selected as “Top 10 Most Innovative in Design” by IABM

Belfast, 15 August 2011, -  APT, the audio codec specialist within the WorldCast Systems’ group, today announced that its ground-breaking new SureStream technology is one of only 10 innovations to be selected as an IABM Design Awards Candidate in the 2011 Awards for Design & Innovation.

Held annually at the IBC tradeshow in Amsterdam, the IABM’s esteemed awards program recognizes products that tangibly aid the progression of the broadcast industry. Shortlisted as one of the “Top 10 most innovative in Design”, APT’s SureStream technology enables broadcasters to reap the benefits of lower cost, open internet links while maintaining broadcast-grade audio and reliability. From the shortlist of 10, winners will be announced at IBC on September 10, 2011.

This latest accolade follows hot on the heels of the success of SureStream at the 2011 NAB Show, where it was selected for both a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award and a Radio Magazine “Pick Hit”.

APT will be demonstrating the performance of SureStream technology on the WorldCast Systems’ booth at IBC 8.B50 from the 9th -13th September 2011.
