For immediate release

Miami, 23rd June 2009 - Audemat are pleased to announce their forthcoming participation in the “International Seminar on Digital Television” due to take place in Bogota, Colombia on the 6th July 2009.

The seminar will present the latest solutions for the rollout of Digital TV throughout the transmission chain; from the generation of the video signal right through to the delivery of MPEG4 to set top boxes.

On the topic of Signal Monitoring and Measurement, Josue F. Rodriguez, Audemat’s Sales Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, will outline how broadcasters can measure the actual quality of transmitter coverage, perform in-depth off-air monitoring and implement a network-wide control and monitoring solution.

The audience will learn from practical examples such as a DVB-T measurement campaign conducted in the Bogota area and analysis of a live digital TV signal received locally.

In addition to the above, Rodriguez will outline the strategic benefits that can be reaped from the use of a central data management solution designed specifically for the broadcast industry.

Rodriguez will showcase three key innovative solutions from Audemat:
  • Navigator DVB – a professional handheld unit designed to perform mobile measurement campaigns for DVB-T and DVB-H networks.
  • Goldeneagle DVB – an affordable solution for stand-alone DVB-T and DVB-H monitoring to ensure that your DVB network complies consistently with your expectations.
  • Broadcast Manager - the ultimate total control solution for remote monitoring of all analog and digital TV broadcast signals as well as all the peripheral equipment at transmitter sites throughout a network.
Many prominent broadcasters throughout Latin America have already selected Audemat ‘s  broadcast monitoring solutions for use throughout their  networks.  Archi (Chile), CNTV (Colombia), RTVC (Colombia),  and Televisa (México) are just a few users who have discovered the extensive control and supervision capabilities these products can offer. The major Spanish network operator, Abertis Telecom, operates a network of more than 400 Audemat monitoring units spread throughout Spain.
This Digital TV Seminar is co-organised by Actuonda, a broadcast equipment specialist working primarily in the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American markets, and TES America, a Columbian company focused on the wireless communications industry.  Other participants at this prestigious event include Grass-Valley Thomson, ADTI, Newtec, Alcatel-Lucent and TeamCast.
