Low Latency Video over IP Delivery
Making its Asian debut at Broadcast Asia is APT’s new solution for real-time delivery of video and audio over IP networks. Based on the established and highly regarded WorldNet Oslo broadcast platform, the new Video Encoder/Decoder Modules fit into the current architecture and can sit beside other payload modules such as audio, voice or aux data cards for delivery over IP networks.To deliver low latency (nearly real time) video and audio data over IP, the WorldNet Oslo modules use JPEG2000, which, combined with the Enhanced apt-X® audio algorithm delivers high performance, broadcast-grade audio and video with minimum delay while still ensuring bandwidth efficiency.
