Rebranding Reflects Group’s Strategic Vision of Supplying Integrated Broadcast Systems
4th September 2009, Bordeaux-Merignac, France - The International Broadcast Group composed of leading brands Audemat, APT & Ecreso will unveil a dynamic new group identity and updated image at this year’s IBC. The rebranding is designed to reflect the group’s visionary strategy of providing professional, integrated solutions to broadcasters at every step along the broadcast chain.
Each of the three main brands is being treated to a fresh new logo and will be united under the group name “WorldCast Systems”.

“WorldCast Systems is a dynamic new force in the international broadcast market. We can harness the collective expertise and extensive product portfolio of several leading broadcast brands to offer our customers a complete service for their radio and TV installations.”
Jean Baptiste Roux, Group VP Sales adds “We recognise that times are tough for many broadcasters who have reduced resources to plan and equip their networks. Our overriding aim is to simplify the process for these customers; work together with them to study all requirements and challenges and provide a fully integrated and tailored solution. Our extensive portfolio comprises solutions from the studio site, right through the transmitter site and into the coverage area for monitoring and measurement.”
The WorldCast Systems name bears the strap line “deliver > transmit > monitor” outlining the three key areas of competency of the group. APT codecs deliver broadcast-grade audio and video between locations over a variety of different links, Ecreso transmitters offer professional, efficient distribution of Radio and TV terrestrial signals and the Audemat range provides a range of monitoring and measurement tools for a wide variety of broadcast technologies. The group also offers essential broadcast equipment such as audio processors, RDS encoders and remote facility management.
The launch of the new name and branding follows the acquisition in March this year of the Northern Irish based company, APT codecs, which completed the missing link between studio and transmitter site in the group’s expanding portfolio.
Rost adds, “Following the APT acquisition and also that of Ecreso in 2006, we have been continually streamlining our internal processes in line with the group’s strategic vision of supplying integrated broadcast systems. Now, it is time to also streamline and refresh our external profile. The name and branding we have chosen will demonstrate to the market our new strategic focus, the wide range of our capabilities and our refreshed, professional approach.
Rost will officially launch the new look at a celebration on the group’s IBC Stand, 8.B58 on Saturday 12th September at 5pm.
Visitors to the show should note that the group will be found in the exhibitor directory under “Audemat”.
